He was appointed as the General Manager of Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort and Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula since 2014, which is the first Starwood’s complex resort in Greater China. He has successfully led this complex resort to be one of the top performance hotels in Wanning City.
拥有多于30年酒店管理的资历，对职业的追求以及对待事业的热情，使他在酒店行业得到了长远的发展。同时，他也是一位深谙喜达屋酒店与度假酒店国际集团管理运营之道的资深领导者。自2003年加入喜达屋酒店与度假酒店国际集团，由此开启了与喜达屋大家庭的不解之缘，在长达12余年的时间内，他先后就职于喜达屋酒店与度假酒店国际集团分布在不同国家的不同品牌酒店，足迹分布于曼谷皇家兰花喜来登酒店、曼谷艾美酒店、西贡艾美酒店等。
With more than 30 years’ experience in the field of hospitality, he has held numerous senior management positions in prominent international hotels. 2003 is the year which he has started his Starwood journey and after that, he has an amazing career development with Starwood, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers;Le Meridien Bangkok; Le Meridien Saigon and etc. 12 years worked in different brands of Starwood all around the world, and those hotels which he worked before are the unforgettable colors of his memory.

Which restaurant you would specially recommend in your hotels?
I will strongly recommend Li Minority Restaurant which is promoting Hainan cultures by combining Li Minority cultures and local ingredients to sell with the conception of “Stay Local, Think Local, and Eat local”

Q2：您认为如何真正做好酒店的管理者呢？
How do you think to become a management expert in hotels?
As I always say “knowledge is power” which means as a management expert in hotels you must have extensive hotel experiences so that you are able to show the team how things can be done and give them proper guidance.
Then learn to give when you don’t have to, care for others, grow continuously, live authentically, empower others, manage hardship, and serve with humility just as the core value of Sheraton brand is saying “Inspiration, Empowerment, and Action”. You need to lead the team with passion and action, set an example for the team to follow by showing how it is done, give the support they need, empower them to take initiatives and make the decision at the imperative moment that will have the team work together to deliver best experience for our guests.
我常说“知识就是力量”，也就是说优秀的酒店管理者不乏丰富的酒店管理经验，在向团队展示果断决策力的同时给予正确引导。

Q3：您来自不同的国家，有着不同文化的背景，对于企业文化有着怎样的理解呢？
You are coming from a foreign country with a different culture background, how do you think the enterprise culture?
Before I travel out of Germany, all what I know about culture is the European culture, knowing little about the Asia, Until I started my career in hotels in Asia and learn different cultures that open my mind and learn to view things with more distinctive perspectives. I got fascinated from Asia the friendly people and its great cuisine. Someone who loves diversity must love Asia. Sheraton, our worldwide brand understands very well how to provide service to guests to enjoy the trip together with us globally with a feeling still to be at home, meet friends with different cultures and enjoy different food, internally it provides our associates chances to work with each other with different cultures so that they are more open-minded and creative to deliver high-end service to our guests all over the world just as the motto of Sheraton says “Travel should open up my life, not interrupt it”

What’s your expectation for the hotel?
What I expect for my hotel is that it becomes well known to tourists in Hainan Island, because Sheraton & Four Points Shenzhou has the most beautiful beach, charming sunset and largest swimming pool, and it has the top class golf course which was designed by the top world golfer, these all make my hotel one of incomparable destinations for wedding, golf and specially families, we are in the middle of Hainan island where is more beautiful, there you could enjoy the best blue sky, purest beach and the most beautiful sea compared to Sanya and Haikou.
Though so far most of people from mainland and foreign countries will only travel to Sanya and Haikou because they only know about Sanya and Haikou, however, if you have ever been here, I believe you will love here and come back again, and you could see the most honest and valuable comments online about my hotel done by guests who stayed with us.
